An evenly contested game was decided by the last kick of the game when James Standen scored the winner for Ashford Green

Ashford Green went into this match looking to keep their winning streak going from last week and they opened up their account inside the first minute when Bill S lashed home from the right wing. Moments later Ashford Green were 2-0 up!

After the setback, Ashford Orange responded well and ended up taking a 5-3 lead into the break with goals from Liam D, Jordan B and James S..

The second half it was Ashford Green who responded well with goals from Shane B and a contentious goal from Jamie B (VAR should have been used to check if it had crossed the line). Jamie S and Steve B were chanelling their inner Ozil with multiple assists between them. Ashford Green found themselves 8-6 up with 5 minutes to go. Ashford Orange piled on a lot of pressure and pulled it back to 8-7 but unfortunately for Ashford Orange there was not a repeat of last weeks result with the last kick of the game.

Ashford Green soaked up the late pressure to see out the result and win the game 8-7.
